Blueberry, Banana & Spinach Smoothie

On busy mornings smoothies are usually my breakfast of choice. Throw your favorite ingredients in a blender. mix it up and you’ve a healthy breakfast. Actually if I’m being honest I make them at all times of day. Mason loves smoothies as do I. Right now his molars are coming in which is fun(sense the humor in my typing). :) He is really finicky with his eating when he is teething. He despises mealtime. He pretty much snacks all day long on soft foods. In order to get some healthy greens in smoothies are the way to go. This is one of my favorite and go-to smoothies. It’s super simple and super delicious. Blueberry Banana & Spinach Smoothie www.ourfulltable.com

I use a Magic Bullet to blend my smoothies but any type of blender will do. I’ve been eyeing the Nutri Bullet for months but I just can’t pull the trigger. I don’t need another kitchen appliance.

Throw everything in the blender and blend till smooth. Sometimes I add flaxseed, wheat germ or chia seeds. I usually use honey to sweeten my smoothies up but if I don’t have any on hand I use agave instead.

Doesn’t that look amazing? Oh it’s so delicious and you cannot even taste the spinach! The kids will never know! :)

  1. Love the blueberry-spinach combination, sometimes i find the thought of a green smoothie a bit unappetising but I could definitely go for this when i’m rushing around in the morning!
