DIRECTIONS
Cream the butter, sugar and vanilla extract.In a seperate bowl mix together the flour, salt, baking powder and nutmeg.Slowly add the dry ingredients into the mixer with the creamed butter and mix.Add the eggs and mix until everything is fully incorporated.Roll dough into a ball and chill in the fridge for 1 hour.Peaheat oven to 350°F.Put half of dough into a greased and flowered 9 in round baking pan or pie pan and press down to pack.Cover with chopped apples.Cover with the rest of dough and sprinkle with cinnamon and turbinado sugar.Bake for about 50-60 minutes at 350°F or until the top becomes golden brown.Source: Read Full Article
