1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
2 teaspoonslemon juice
1 dashground black pepper
1⁄4 teaspoonkosher salt
1 dashgarlic powder
8 ounces broccoli florets from 1 large head broccoli, stems reserved for another use
Preheat the broiler and place the rack in the middle, roughly 8" from the heating element.
In a medium bowl, whisk together all ingredients except broccoli.Stir broccoli florets in to coat.
Spread broccoli on a rimmed baking sheet.Broil 7 minutes until the edges are crisp and lightly charred.
Serve immediately.You can add a sprinkle of cayenne or smoked paprika if you want a little extra kick.
