Tesco, Asda, Morrisons, Lidl, Waitrose and Sainsbury’s have issued food recall warnings to customers. A number of food items are potentially dangerous due to allergens while others may have undeclared metal. This is the full list of products being recalled.

Magnum White ice cream
Two batches of the product have been recalled as they contain milk which is not written in English on the label.
The food product is sold in Tesco, Asda, Morrisons and Sainsbury’s.
The Food Standards Agency (FSA) website explained: “This product contains milk making it a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents.”
Posting on Twitter, Tesco added: “As a safety precaution, Magnum are recalling certain batches of Magnum White ice cream (440ml).
“This is due to the potential undeclared presence of milk. This is a national recall and other retailers are affected.”
The batches affected are 440ml with the batch codes L9255AT138 and L9255BT138 and end date of September 2021.
Point-of-sale notices have been issued to stores and those with an intolerance have been asked not to consume the product.

Wall’s Mini Calippo
Wall’s Mini Calippo’s are sold in stores including Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury’s and Waitrose.
Some packs of the frozen treats have been recalled due a possible safety risk.
Small pieces of metal were found in some packs which make the ice lollies unsafe to eat, the FSA reported.
The items affected have the batch code L0121, L0122, L0123, L0124, L0125 and L0126 and end dates of April 2022 and May 2022.
Those who have purchased any of the above products are asked to again contact Unilever.
The discount retailer has recalled the Baresa Pesto Alla Genovese (Green) and Red variants.
- Waitrose issue urgent food recall amid allergy fears
The FSA website explained: “These products may contain peanuts making them a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to peanuts.”
The presence of peanuts could cause a serious health risk for those with an allergy and should not be consumed if customers if so.
Posting on Twitter, Lidl warned: “We’re recalling our Baresa Pesto 190g Alla Genovese (Green) and Red variants, with Best Before Dates up to and including 10/2022, as they may contain traces of undeclared peanuts. Do not eat it if you have a peanut allergy or intolerance.”
Shoppers can return the item to the store for a full refund if making an essential supermarket trip, or they can contact customer services.
Morrisons has recalled all of its Market Street Living Herbs as they could contain Listeria monocytogenes.
This can cause symptoms including flu, high temperature, muscle aches and sickness.
All batches are affected and those bought between May 3 and May 9 2020 are at risk.
Customers should not use these and instead return to the store where possible for a full refund.
