Chick N' Skin, a food stand that specializes in selling fried chicken skin and fried chicken skin only, is the anti-that-guy-on-Facebook.
The Los Angeles-based operation, which was founded in 2017, is apparently the first company in the U.S. to market chicken skins at festivals, markets, and online.
“The mission of Chick N' Skin is to put chicken on the map and serve the best part every time,” the website states. “But our goals are more than skin deep; our vision is to be a leader in reducing the impact on our environment. We have created a resourceful way to utilize the entire animal, thereby minimizing waste.”
While we’d argue that chicken was on the map before this food stand came along, we’re always happy to hear about companies that are mindful of reducing food waste.
As if we weren’t already sold on the idea, it seems that chicken skins are actually keto-friendly.
Good for the environment AND good(ish) for your body?! Take our money.
