The bright red Aulani Sunrise drink is a sweet combination of vodka, Dole pineapple juice, and grenadine. The drink is served in a souvenir tiki mug that you can take home with you from the festival and can be found at the Hawai’i Marketplace.
Pork Tostada, Mexico
The Pork Tostada from the Mexico Marketplace is a definite must-get. A crispy, fried tortilla acts as the base, and it’s piled high with savory black beans, pulled pork, spicy salsa verde, onions, and cilantro.
New England Lobster Roll, Hops and Barley
Lobster rolls are a quintessential summer food for many people. Disney’s take on the classic combines a dill-heavy herb dressing with fresh lobster meat on a griddled roll. The dish from the Hops and Barley Marketplace is served with a small container of melted butter to drizzle over the lobster, making it even more indulgent.
Mini Street Corn Funnel Cake, Funnel Cakes
The Mini Street Corn Funnel Cakes combine a classic sweet treat with a savory topping that’s a riff on the popular Mexican street corn, elote. This is kind of a secret menu item since there’s no big menu board outside the funnel cake stand. The only way to know about it is through the My Disney Experience app—or to walk up to the funnel cake window and see the small sign indicating that it’s available.
Chirashi Sushi Flower Pot, Japan
Salmon, sushi rice, salmon roe, and poke sauce are piled into a small plastic flower pot with this must-try dish. The seafood is super fresh without being overwhelmingly fishy, and the sweet poke sauce brings a unique flavor to the dish. The Chirashi Sushi Flower Pot can be found at the Japan Marketplace.
Spicy Hummus Fries, Morocco
People who love spicy foods will love the Spicy Hummus Fries from the Morocco Marketplace. They’re topped with tzatziki, tomatoes, cucumber, onions, and chipotle sauce. The tzatziki helps to cool your mouth off after munching on the spicy hummus fries and chipotle sauce.
Pão de Queijo, Brazil
Warm melty cheese is my love language, and Epcot has a dish available that combines melty cheese and bread into one superb dish: Pão de Queijo from the Brazil Marketplace. You get two pieces of cheese bread that are served warm. When you break into the bread, you’ll notice a super crispy exterior and a gooey, cheesy inside.
Macaroni and Cheese, Mac and Cheese
One of the new marketplaces, and my favorite, is the Mac and Cheese Marketplace located inside World Showplace between the United Kingdom and Canada pavilions. Here you can find four different versions of macaroni and cheese: Gourmet Macaroni and Cheese with Boursin Garlic and Fine Herbs Cheese, Buffalo Chicken Macaroni and Cheese, Lobster Macaroni and Cheese, Macaroni and Cheese with House-made Italian Sausage and Peppers (plant-based).
Caramel-Apple Popcorn, Appleseed Orchard
Popcorn might seem like a weird top ten option, but hear me out. The Caramel-Apple Popcorn from the Appleseed Orchard Marketplace is worth it. The mix combines traditional caramel popcorn with green apple flavored popcorn for a sweet and slightly sour mashup. The popcorn is served in a souvenir popcorn bucket with the marketplace logo on the front. If you like the Outpost Mix from Kat Saka’s Kettle at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, you’ll like this.
Liquid Nitro Cake Pop, Desserts and Champagne
At the Desserts and Champagne Marketplace you’ll find the Liquid Nitro Cake Pops. These decadent treats start off as chocolate cake that’s dipped into a chocolate coating, then dunked into bubbling liquid nitrogen. After a few seconds in the liquid nitrogen the cake pops are handed over to you still steaming. For an even bigger sugar rush, consider getting the cake pops topped with crushed up Twix or M&M’S.
While you’re at the festival, don’t miss all the cute new merch that features characters like Remy from Ratatouille, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, and Figment. There are annual passholder exclusives like pins and T-shirts, plus cups, plates, coasters, trivets, and festival-themed Dooney and Bourke handbags. Some merchandise items will be exclusively sold at World Showplace, while a small collection of items can be found at Mouse Gear near the front of the park.
There has not been an end date announced for the Taste of Epcot International Food and Wine Festival except for “late fall.” So pack your stretchy pants because there’s still plenty of time to try out all of the dishes and snag merchandise for the festival.
