There’s still time before you get your Thanksgiving menu in order, but it’s never too early to figure out your game plan for Black Friday shopping. In fact, I’m sure you already have your eye on some appliances or other significant purchases for the big day.
To get you in the headspace of deals, deals, and more deals, here’s everything you need to know about Black Friday 2021 including when it starts, what stores are participating, and what sales to look out for. We’ll be updating this story as more specific information comes available leading up to the day.
When is Black Friday 2021?
Per tradition, Black Friday is always the day after Thanksgiving, so this year it falls on November 26. This means you have several weeks to scope out what your house may need or what people on your nice list want under their tree this year. Keep in mind, just because Black Friday is technically on November 26, there is a chance you can get in on some deals earlier than that, which leads us to our next question!
What time does Black Friday start?
Some stores have already announced that they’re closing up shop for Thanksgiving Day to allow employees to spend the holidays with their families. Walmart and Target are among that list, so don’t bank on being able to do any shopping after your pumpkin pie. Although last year, Walmart opened up at 5 a.m. on Black Friday to allow shoppers to come in, so it’s likely this year they’ll open up again early in the day to accommodate those in the market for these savings. Of course, it’s always safe to check in on your local stores or to see if any deals start rolling out early on in the week online.
What sales can we expect on Black Friday?
In the past, sites and stores like Amazon, Bed, Bath & Beyond, Target, Macy’s, Sam’s Club, Walmart, Costco, and Wayfair have been some of the best places to find deals. Since we take Black Friday shopping very seriously around here, we’ll be sure to let you know what’s worth the purchase. Typically air fryers, Instant Pots, blenders, KitchenAid mixers, and other household must-haves are big ticket items to add to your cart, so we’ll be sure to keep you in the loop about the best bang for your buck.
