Did you know that Lime-A-Rita rebranded itself last year? Because I definitely didn’t.
If you’re also out of the canned cocktail loop, here’s the lowdown: Anheuser-Busch launched Ritas, the first brand in the company that explicitly targets women. The absolute best thing about this transition is that it has blessed us with “The Ritas,” my new favorite trio of all time. They’re real as hell.
Here they are introducing the brand’s new Rita Spritz Canned Wine Cocktails last month:

While we’re on the topic of Rita Spritz Canned Wine Cocktails … they look kinda incredible.
They were released in February and come in three bubbly flavors: White Peach Rosé, Pear Orange Sangria, and Strawberry Blueberry Sangria.
With a slightly lower alcohol content than the brand’s sparkling margarita line (White Peach Rose Spritz has 6% ABV, while the O.G. Lime-A-Rita has 8% ABV) and super sweet flavors, the new line is perfect for summer.
“As a brand, we want to stand for more than just margaritas,” said Chelsea Phillips, Vice President, Beyond Beer Brands at Anheuser Busch, in a press release. “Ritas is about embracing bold individuality and a party attitude. This newest innovation responds to a growing consumer desire for ready-to-drink beverages. With spritz dominating as the consumer beverage of choice, and canned wines on the rise, we felt there was no better time to shake up the status quo with Ritas Spritz.”
Ritas Spritz is available at retailers nationwide now.
