Adele has been on a weight loss journey of the past year, and reportedly ate a diet of 1,000 calories a day to slim down.

She also drank green juice on a daily basis.

However, many will be shocked to learn that a certain former British boyband member was key in helping Adele to slim down.

Harry Styles, 26, was there to support Adele after her divorce in a manner that helped her shed the weight.

Adele and Simon Konecki married in 2016 but split in 2019.

It has been Harry took Adele hiking during the period to cheer her spirits.

Harry led Adele along his favourite Malibu hiking trails and also took her to HIIT classes.

HIIT is an exercise of fast and hard activity followed by short periods of rest. It has been linked with to weight loss by many studies.

Harry and Adele are close friends, the Mirror report claims, and were seen spending time on the beach together, along with James Cordon, in January.

But Adele’s hikes with Harry are not the rumoured methods behind her weight loss.

She was supposedly inspired to lose weight because she is a parent.

A source told People magazine: “She got to the point where she didn’t feel great. She knew she had to change something, because she wants to be the healthiest mum possible.

“Her whole focus during the weight loss journey has really been all about how she can be healthier and how can she treat her body better. It was never about losing weight.”

The Sirtfood Diet is the most widely credited method for Adele’s weight loss.

Nutritionist Aidan Goggins, co-author of The Sirtfood Diet explains: “For the first three days, you restrict calorie intake to 1,000 calories a day, which includes drinking three sirtfood green juices plus eating a sirtfood-rich meal and snacking on antioxidant sirtfood bites.

“For the last four days, you up the calorie intake to 1,500 calories a day by consuming two sirtfood-rich meals and two green juices, cutting out the bites.”

However, after this the diet encourages red wine, dark chocolate and chilli.

One man has followed a weight loss diet plan losing a whopping eight stone in a year. 

Ad van Der Rest, 56 year old from Maidenhead has managed to shrink from 20 stone to 12 stone.
