According to the reports, Adele used a diet delivery plan called Freshology.

The plan drops off three gourmet low calories meals a day.

Adele, who is living in LA, is one of a number of celebrities who have also used the service.

This includes Katy Perry, who it is reported suggested the diet to Adele, her neighbour.

Also thought to be fans of the plan are Hilary Duff and Sofia Vergara.

The diet plan offers low-carb meals, which includes delicious options.

Typical plan includes:

Breakfast: Egg quesadilla and wholegrain pancakes

Lunch: Turkey salad and chicken burger

Dinner: Chicken stir-fry and baked salmon

The source told The Sun: “Adele was keen to lose weight and decided to use a meal delivery service after being recommended them by Katy Perry, who was a big fan before she fell pregnant.

“Adele made it clear she doesn’t want to feel deprived and loves wholesome, good food, so she chose the balanced calorie-controlled menu which delivers three meals a day and doesn’t cut out any food groups but sticks to around 1,700 calories.

“Adele’s never been a huge fan of cooking and this plan is the perfect way to maintain her hard work in the gym.”

Adele’s personal trainer revealed some of the diet tricks behind her slimmer frame.

LA-based personal trainer Pete Geracimo shed some light on Adele’s diet plan.

Pete has revealed he trained with Adele two to three times a week, depending on the the singer’s schedule.

Pete told Insider: “I promote realistic training and nutrition.

“I do not advocate short cuts or quick fixes but am in the business for long-lasting results.

“Same with nutrition. I do not promote supplements, pills, powders or potions. I prefer real food and a healthy and varied eating lifestyle. It is easier than you think.”

It has also been claimed that Adele’s diet was the Sirtfood diet. 

It’s thought that certain foods can activate sirtuin – the so-called “skinny” gene – which can boost metabolism, increase fat burning, fight inflammation and curb your appetite.
