Keto diet trick – best snacks on low carb diet plan to shed weight fast

Keto diet snacks follow all the same rules as the keto diet. The keto diet is one in which at least 70 percent of calories are taken from fat.

The diet is named after the ketogenic metabolic state, which it aims to put the body in.

This is when the body uses fat as its primary source of energy, not carbohydrates, which is the natural metabolic state for mammals.

Carbohydrates are, basically, sugar, so the keto diet is a diet with very, very little sugar.

So, sweet snacks are more difficult to make on the keto diet than savoury ones, as the diet eliminates sugar.

However, there are some ways to get a sweet fix.

If you fancy a sweet treat, berries and cream can be delicious and filling.

Dark chocolate is a good snack on the keto diet, all long as dieters opt for 70 percent cocoa and eat a small amount.

Some keto diet followers make sweet snacks by creating protein balls or “fat bombs”.

These can be made by combining cream cheese, peanut butter, coconut oil and keto-friendly dark chocolate.

Savoury snacks on the keto diet are easier, including cheese and eggs.

However, the keto diet is not without some risk according to dieticians.

Consultant Dietitian Maeve Hanan believes the keto diet could have a negative effect on your health.

“A low intake of wholegrains, a more restricted intake of fruit and vegetables and a higher intake of saturated fat may lead to a higher risk of constipation, bowel cancer and heart disease over time,” Maeve explained.

Another weight loss diet plan has been linked to a lower BMI and less belly fat in a recent study.

The study at the University Hospital of Leipzig analysed 9,000 vegetarians of ages and genders.

Vegetarianism was linked to a lower weight.

Not only that, but the less meat a person ate the lower their body mass index (BMI) was likely to be.
