Man’s weight loss diet plan to lose 2.6st and shed belly fat for six pack abs

This Reddit user achieved an amazing weight loss and shed belly fat to reveal chiselled muscles.

He revealed that he took up a certain exercise regimen and diet plan for the look.

The 31-year-old achieved the transformation in just four and a half months, an incredible feat.

He weighed 15.7 stone in February and on his last weigh in this month he weighed 13 stone.

So how did he do it? The man revealed he ate a “pretty boring” diet, tracking his macros.

Macros refer to macro nutrients, broken down into carbs, fat and protein.

The Reddit user said: “I am a creature of habit, my diet is pretty boring, especially when I find something good I usually keep it in my week. For that reason, I’m just going to show my macro counts because I’m not eating anything special.

“I adjust my macro intake based on what muscle group I’m working on. Larger muscle groups will have higher carbs and protein; smaller groups will be higher fats and protein, low carbs.”

When working his back and legs he said: “I try to consume around 1734 Kcal, which will consist of 46 per cent carbs; 46 per cent proteins; 24 per cent fats.”

However, he eats less carbohydrates on a more keto style diet on other says.

When exercising his arms or resting he eats 1562 calories, which consists of 26 per cent carbs, 32 per cent proteins and 42 per cent fats.

On chest and delts say he eats 1728 calories, which consists of 27 per cent carbs, 30 per cent protein and 43 per cent fats.

He added: “Meal prep in general is a struggle for me, it takes me about two hours overall on a Sunday.

“I know, not that much, but my god, time is so limited, that’s the last thing I want to do.

“So crafting recipes that I can throw in a slow cooker, rice maker, insta pot has been a life saver.”
