One woman reveals the diet plan she used to shed nearly 9st – what did she do?

If trying to lose weight, there are lots of different diet plans on the market that can help dieters achieve their weight loss goals.  Knowing which diet to follow can be a challenge, but looking at others who have managed to slim down can be a great way to get some inspiration.  One woman recently shared her incredible weight loss transformation on Reddit and revealed she has lost 8st 13lb.  As well as posting pictures of her before and after losing weight, the Reddit user shared what she did to shape up.

I’ve achieved this mainly by counting calories, with a smattering of exercise.

What diet did she follow?

Posting about her weight loss on Reddit, the user “jonquil_dress” also shared she is 5ft 8in and 35-years-old.

She explained she had shrunk from a huge 20st 7lb to a much healthier 11st 8lb by tracking everything that she eats and sticking to a daily calorie limit.

She said: “My calorie goal has varied from 1250 to 1800, 1500 currently.

“I’ve had a LOT of days where I was well over my goal and I’ve still succeeded.”

Below the post, there were lots of comments from other users praising her incredible transformation and “jonquil_dress” gave an deeper insight into her exercise routine.

“I’ve achieved this mainly by counting calories, with a smattering of exercise,” she explained.

“I’ve recently taken up aerial yoga, but 99 percent of my success comes from food, not exercise.”

The Reddit user also revealed the transformation took her two years and she is working hard to make sure she keeps the weight loss.

She said: “The biggest difference in keeping it off this time around has been logging every calorie no matter what – even the 6000 calorie days – to the best of my ability.”

The slimmer revealed she is hoping to use another 10lb, but is happy with her progress so far.

Dieters often use Reddit to share their weight loss transformations to give an insight into how lose weight.

This is a low-carb and high-fat plan which includes meals such as meat, fish, nuts and vegetables.
