3 envelope crockpot roast

I have used this recipe for several years. I think it was a pinterest find. If we have leftovers, I make gravy from the liquid and shred the beef and have beef hot shots later in the week.


  1. 3-4 lb chuck roast
  2. 1 envelope zesty Italian dressing mix
  3. 1 envelope ranch dressing mix
  4. 1 envelope brown gravy mix
  5. 2 cups water


  1. Add packets of dry mix to 2 cups water. stir to mix.

  2. Add chuck roast to crockpot.

  3. Cover roast with liquid mixture

  4. Cook on low for 7-9 hrs
