Best Homemade Mayonnaise

I love mayonnaise but I don’t like commercial additives! This will keep in the fridge for about a week! If you like Miracle Whip, add a splash of pickle juice ?
This recipe is easy if you have a food processor, I used a mini Cuisinart
Yields one cup mayo


  1. 2 large egg yolks
  2. 1 tblsp red wine vinegar
  3. 1/8 tsp mustard
  4. 1/8 tsp salt
  5. 2/3 C vegetable oil


  1. In the food processor, add the yolks, vinegar, mustard and salt -if you’re going the Miracle Whip route, add the splash of pickle juice…pulse on low until combined

  2. Using the vent on top, begin drizzling in the oil while on high speed…the mixture will thicken as the oil is added

  3. That’s all there is to it! Super simple, right?
