Cake rusk(without oven)

My all time favorite tea snack……which I made at home. #EidKiMeethas


  1. 1 cup plain flour
  2. 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  3. 3 eggs
  4. 1/2 cup butter
  5. 1 tsp baking powder
  6. 1 pinch Yellow food color
  7. 1/4 tsp vanilla essence or extract


  1. First of all take pot/ patila,layered salt & place stand over the lay of salt and preheat it

  2. In another bowl mix flour and baking powder. This is your dry ingredients mixture

  3. Take another large bowl add butter and beat it.Then add sugar gradually and beat it all for 1 minute.Then add eggs one by one and beat it until a smooth mixture.

  4. After beating add vanilla essence or extract.Slightly mix it.After beating add dry mixture in two batches and mix it until all combined.

  5. Last add yellow food color and mix it.(Cake batter is ready)Then pour the cake batter in prepared cake tin and bake it in patila for 40 min in medium to low flame.

  6. After baking, allow it to cool.Cut it’s slices into the following shape.

  7. Bake it for 10 minutes in unpreheated patila(Don’t preheat the patila) After baking tilt the side of rusk and again bake it for 10 minutes.(carefully doing this step)

  8. Place the cake rusk in plate and enjoy it with tea?
