- 1 large russet potato
- 1 egg scrambled
- 1/2 t. Salt
- 1/2 t. Pepper
- 1 t. Onion powder
- 1 t. Garlic powder
- 2 T. Butter (for frying)
Peel the russet potato, and use a cheese grater to shred it. After that, rise the shreds with water and drain off as much liquid as possible.
In a bowl, add the shredded potatoes, scrambled egg, and all the seasonings. Note* you may not need all the egg.*
In a fry pan, melt 1 T. of butter. Form the potato mixture in 8 small patties. Once the butter is melted and hot, fry the first 4. After they come off the pan, repeat the process with the last 4.
Serve hot with ketchup, syrup, or honey mustard. Enjoy!
