Japanese Beef Curry


  1. 1/4 kg beef shanks
  2. 1 carrot
  3. 1 potato
  4. 1 white onion
  5. 1 pack Japanese Curry Mix
  6. 1 tbsp oil
  7. 5 1/2 cups water


  1. Slice onions in strips. Cut the carrot and potato in cubes. Add some salt and pepper.

  2. Sprinkle some salt and pepper to the beef cubes.

  3. In a heated pan, place 1 tablespoon of oil and cook the onion, carrot, and potato for 2-3 minutes. Set aside.

  4. Using the same pan, stir fry the beef cubes on each side until brown. Set aside.

  5. In a pot, place the beef, cubed carrots and potatoes, onions and Japanese curry mix with water.

  6. Place slow cooker into high for 90 minutes. Served with rice.
