Ingredients
- 1 pound lima beans
- 1/4 pound smoked pork
- To taste salt
- 1/3 stick butter
- 2 tablespoons thinly sliced shallots
- 1-1/4 cup water divided
Steps
Thinly slice the shallots. Heat the beans and smoked pork. Add 1/4 cup water. Cook covered till water is absorbed, and beans are slightly browned.
Add water, butter, and shallots. Deglaze the pan with the remaining water. Cook 7-10 minutes. Serve I hope you enjoy!!
