Maghaz Masala

Ingredients

  1. 1 medium chopped onion
  2. 2 medium tomatoes
  3. 1 1/2 inch grated Ginger
  4. 2 teaspoons fenugreek
  5. Quarter teaspoon turmeric
  6. Half teaspoon turmeric to boil in brain
  7. 1 and 1/2 teaspoon of red chili pepper
  8. Half teaspoon garam masala
  9. Less than 1/2 cup of oil
  10. 2 green chilies
  11. 1/2 teaspoon Salt

Steps

  1. Boil water. As you see the bubbles add brain with 1/2 teaspoon turmeric. Boil for 8 minutes.

  2. Fry onions in oil until light brown

  3. Add tomatoes, ginger, turmeric, red chili powder, garam masala, green chilies (leave half for garnishing), and salt. 1/2 cup of water with salt

  4. Cook until oil comes out

  5. Add brain and cook on low to medium heat for 5 to 10 minutes

  6. Add fenugreek and green chilies

  7. Simmer for 5 minutes
