Mango Pickle ?

Ingredients

  1. 1 Kg Raw Mangoes
  2. 1 tsp Turmeric Pd
  3. 2 tbsp Salt
  4. 3-4 tbsp Chilli Pd
  5. 1/4 kg Ginger (chopped)
  6. 1/4 kg Garlic (chopped)
  7. 12 Green Chillies (chopped)
  8. 1/4 litre Oil
  9. 3 tbsp Mustard Seeds
  10. 3 tbsp Methi Seeds
  11. 1/4 tsp Asafoetida
  12. 2 tbsp Mustard Pd
  13. 2 tbsp Methi Pd

Steps

  1. Firstly, wash & wipe dry the mangoes. Remove the skin & Chop finely. To it, add Turmeric Pd & Salt & set aside for few hours.

  2. Heat Oil. Add Mustard Seeds, Methi Seeds & Asafoetida.

  3. Add Chopped Ginger & fry for 3-4 mins.

  4. Then add Chopped Garlic & let it also fry for 3-4 mins.

  5. Add Chopped Green Chillies & fry for sometime till the raw smell of Ginger Garlic goes.

  6. Add little Turmeric Pd, Mustard Pd, Methi Pd & Salt & fry for sometime. Off the flame & let it cool.

  7. Add Chilli Pd to the mangoes.

  8. When the Oil is slightly lukewarm, add the mangoes & mix well ??
