Ingredients
- 8 oz dry elbow macaroni
- 3 tbsp butter
- 2 green onion chutes chopped
- 3 tbsp SR flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp black pepper
- 1 c heavy cream
- 1/2 c sprite
- 1 tbsp grape juice
- 2 1/2 c grated cheddar
Steps
Boil Mac in salted water according to directions and drain. Set aside. Meanwhile melt butter in skillet and add onion to sauté. Stir in flour, salt, and pepper. Slowly add cream, sprite, and juice. Stir and simmer for 10 minutes. Stir in cheese and melt. Add Mac, stir, add to a serving dish, and garnish.
