Ingredients
- Meatloaf base:
- 2 lbs ground beef (80/20)
- 1 large onion (diced)
- 1 egg
- 1 cup Kelloggs cornflake crumbs
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup parsley
- 1 Tbsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Meatloaf Topping:
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 2 packed Tbsp brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp dry mustard
Steps
Pregeat oven to 350 degrees
In a large bowl mix all the meatloaf base ingredients and then place into 9×13 glass baking dish. You want to have a little space between the outside edges of the dish and the meatloaf.
In a small dish or 2 cup measuring cup add the meatloaf topping ingredients and mix well.
Spread topping over the meatloaf.
Bake for 45 minutes.
Remove from oven and let sit 5 minutes before serving
