This food is very delicious!!! ? I have tried this food for the first time in Spain, because it is one of the famous Spanish dishes, and I think that it is a must for me to try to make it at home, but this is not an authentic Paella recipe, because:
1. I didn’t cook it in a Paella Pan, but in a non stick skillet, because I don’t have Paella Pan.
2. I didn’t use safron and artichoke, because it’s so rare and pricey here.
So, This is just my version of it… ?


  1. Ingredients:
  2. 250 gr Risotto/Paella Rice
  3. 200 gr chicken
  4. 200 gr Shrimps
  5. 1 onion
  6. 2 garlic
  7. 1/4 fresh paprika
  8. 60 gr smoked sausage
  9. 2 tsp paprika powder
  10. 1/4 tsp kukurma
  11. 1 L chicken stock
  12. Crushed tomato from 2 tomatoes
  13. Black pepper
  14. Salt


  1. Heat some oil in a non stick skillet

  2. Add the chicken, allow it until brown on all sides

  3. Move the chicken to the side of the skillet

  4. Add onion and garlic, saute it until fragrant

  5. Stir in smoked sausage about 1 minute, and then stir onion, garlic, sausage, and chicken all together

  6. Add rice, stir it

  7. Add paprika powder and kukurma powder

  8. Stir in crushed tomato

  9. Add chicken stock and salt, stir it well, and bring it up to a boil, and let the water reduce

  10. Arrange the shrimps and fresh paprika on the rice

  11. Reduce the heat to medium low, and then cover it with a lid or a couple layers of aluminum foil, and cook the mixture for about 20 minutes or until the rice is cooked perfectly
