  • 2lbsground beef
  • 1largeonion, chopped
  • 2 (6 ounce) cans tomato paste
  • 4 (8 ounce) cans tomato sauce
  • 14 cupdried parsley flakes
  • 1teaspoondried rosemary leaves
  • 12 teaspoonground sage
  • 12 teaspoondried marjoram
  • 12 teaspoondried thyme leaves
  • 4 -6minced garlic cloves
  • 2 (13 1/4ounce) cans mushroom stems and pieces, drained(optional)
  • 2teaspoonssalt
  • 1cupwhite wine
  • 12 teaspoonpepper

    DIRECTIONS

  • 1. Brown and drain ground meats.
  • 2. Drain off fat and place in large Crockpot spayed with non-stick spray.
  • 3. Add chopped onions.
  • 4. Add tomato paste and tomato sauce.
  • 5. Add all herbs and seasonings.
  • 6. Add wine and stir well.
  • 7. Cook on low in Crockpot 6-8 hours. Should be enough sauce for 1-2 lbs. spaghetti noodles cooked according to directions on box.
