Slow cooked pork loin

I like to take time when cooking meats to allow them to break down and be tender. Low and slow.


  1. 2-3 lbs Center cut Pork loin
  2. 1 cup Apple juice
  3. 1 Tbsp adobe season
  4. 1 Tbsp garlic powder
  5. 1 tsp salt
  6. 1 tsp pepper
  7. Gravy…
  8. 1 cup pork juice
  9. .5 cup milk
  10. 2 Tbsp butter
  11. 2 Tbsp flour
  12. to taste Salt


  1. Place loin in baking dish i used glass pyrex bread pan as it was smaller. Add apple juice if using a bigger pan increase the amount of juice as it may cood off. Coat loin in seasoning and place in dish. Cover with Aluminum foil bake at 280 F for 3-4 hours meat should seperate easily with fork.

  2. Remove pork cut any excess fat off. Slice or pull and serve with sides. Use additional liquid to make a gravy.

  3. Get sauce pan heat at medium heat place 2 Tbsp of butter with 2 Tbsp of flour. Mix together with wisk. Until starts to bubble 2-3 min. Add 1 cup of pork juice stained and mix thoroughly with flour and butter roux. Once clumps are gone add.5 cup of milk. Keep stirring take to boil then simmer. Salt to taste.
