- 2 1/4 tsp dry active yeast
- 1 1/4 cups warm water (120f)
- 3 1/2 cups bread flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tsp ground oregano
- 2 tsp sugar
- Olive oil
- 1 tbsp fresh ground black pepper
Mix yeast and sugar into the warm water let set for about 10-15 minutes.
Mix all dry ingredients together in a mixing bowl.
Using a dough hook, mix water/yeast mixture into the dry ingredients. Knead the bread with hook for about 5 minutes. If dough is sticky add a little more flour, if its too dry add a little warm water.
Use olive oil to oil a bowl, roll dough in the olive oil, cover bowl with plastic wrap and let dough rise in a warm area.
Once dough has risen twice its size, punch it down.
Use a little olive oil to oil a cookie sheet. Place dough on cookie sheet, cover and let rise again. Pre heat oven to 375,
Bake bread for about 20 minutes.
