Summer of '69 Dinner

In remembrance…..


  1. Hamburger
  2. 2 pound ground sirloin
  3. 3 slices hamburger buns
  4. To taste sliced cheddar cheese
  5. To taste salt and pepper
  6. As needed butter for the buns
  7. 2 kosher pickles
  8. 1 large tomato
  9. To taste your favorite condiments
  10. 1 cup lettuce shredded roughly
  11. As needed hamburger sauce Batch 69 see my recipe
  12. Salad
  13. 6 cups salad mix
  14. 1 tomato sliced into thin wedges
  15. 1 boiled egg
  16. To taste your favorite salad toppings
  17. To taste your favorite salad dressing


  1. Make the ground sirloin into 1/3 pound patties. Panfry in a hot pan. Mix some salt and pepper.

  2. When you turn the patties season them

  3. Slice the tomatoes, pickles, and shred the lettuce. Season the tomatoes with salt and pepper mixture.

  4. Cut the cheese and stack the sirloin patties.

  5. Butter the buns and toast them

  6. Make the salad I used a throwback way of slicing the egg.

  7. Assemble the Burgers and serve I hope you enjoy!
