• 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese, or more to taste
  • 1 (8 ounce) jar picante sauce
  • 1 (7 ounce) can chopped green chilies
  • 1 (1 ounce) package taco seasoning
  • 1 (15 ounce) package flour tortillas

  • Step 1

    Combine cream cheese, Cheddar cheese, picante sauce, green chiles, and taco seasoning in a large mixing bowl.


  • Step 2

    Spread some of the mixture over most of 1 tortilla, leaving a 1/2-inch border on one side. Roll up. Repeat with remaining tortillas and cream cheese mixture. Cut into 1- to 2-inch sections.

  • Cook's Note:

    A helpful hint when spreading the mixture: Spread mixture on almost all of tortilla, but leave about a 1/2 of aninch on one side without the mix. When you roll the tortilla, the mix has a tendency to spread out and this open gap will be filled with the mix already in the tortilla.
