McDonald’s is making Monday a little better by providing their customers with a special discount.
However, foodies must act fast because the offer is only available today, on August 7, 2023.
With the slogan “Make it a McDonald’s Monday”, McDonald’s announced the reduction in price of the Single McMuffin and the McPlant.
According to The Daily Mail, the popular items have been slashed by 30 percent and 50 percent respectively.
A Single McMuffin from the fast food chain will set customers back just £1.19 today, usually sold for £2.89.

The deal extends to Sausage and Egg McMuffins as well as Bacon and Egg.
McDonald’s official website reads: “Give yourself a little lift this Monday with our weekly offer. This week, get a Single McMuffin for just £1.19!
“Claim your offer between 05:00 and 10:59pm on Monday August 7. T&Cs apply. Pick-up at McDonald’s or get it delivered to your door!”

And it’s not just meat eaters who can benefit from a reduced menu today. A McPlant will set customers back £1.39 today, usually £3.39.
The McPlant is totally “vegan certified” and made from a plant-based patty. It features vegan sandwich sauce, ketchup, mustard, onion, pickles, lettuce, tomato, and a vegan alternative to cheese in a sesame seed bun.
The official website reads: “Give yourself a little lift this Monday with our weekly offer. This week, get a McPlant for just £1.39!
“Claim your offer between 00:01 and 04:59 and 11:00 and 23:59 on Monday August 7. T&Cs apply. Pick-up at McDonald’s or get it delivered to your door!”
Both offers are redeemable in the McDonald’s App. McDonald’s accepts Apple Pay, Google Pay and PayPal.
In addition to getting your hands on the tasty – and reduced – menu items, another incentive for downloading the app is to earn 1,000 bonus points on your first order.
Customers will automatically earn one point for every penny they spend, meaning a Single McMuffin purchase while earn them 119 points, while a McPlant purchase will earn them 139 points.
