There are many different ways to make a cup of tea, milk first, milk last, strong or weak, sugar or sweetener.
But one UK man has absolutely shocked his fellow tea drinkers with an extremely unique hack.
Taking to sharing platform TikTok, @lemtiktok7 said: “Custard in a cuppa, remember who put you on.”
Asked how he came to this discovery, the creator revealed: “Had no milk left one time and my initiative kicked in.”
In his video, he poured several dollops of custard into his cup of tea (sans milk) straight from the carton, then gave it a stir.

The video has amassed over 8,000 likes, with over 5,000 TikTok users sharing the video with a friend.
Nearly 900 people saved the video, potentially suggesting that they’re going to try out the tea making method themselves.
But the majority of viewers were pretty alarmed by putting custard in their cuppa.
